Saxon Motorcycles USA, founded in 2004, was established to produce production custom motorcycles at a more reasonable price point than currently available and to apply professional management and production processes to an industry that is dominated by fragmented manufacturing practices.
Today Saxon is piloted by a group of heavy commercial construction executives with years of management, production and creative experience. As avid motorcycle riders, they recognize the unique similarities between the construction industry and developing a production custom motorcycle business. Both are characterized by small entrepreneurial companies, constrained supply chains, evolving systems and process capabilities and growing market demand for new products. By establishing strict processes and standards for containing costs, vendor and project management as well as quality and customer service, they have grown and managed multi million dollar companies. This experience prepared the team to quickly tackle and become a dominant player in the production custom motorcycle industry. The group has assembled a winning combination of team members with industry experience in design, engineering and manufacturing. This team is dedicated to growing Saxon into one of the top manufacturers of production custom motorcycles in the world.
In an effort to be more accessible to the public as well as adapt to an ever changing global economy the team has elected to move the plant back to the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. In house operations include Research and Development, Engineering, Paint, Powder Coating, Pre-Assembly, Final Assembly, Quality Control, Accounting, Customer Service and Warranty. Our brand new facility in Gilbert, AZ is yet another commitment to our product and customers.
When an order is placed for a motorcycle, it is entered into Saxon’s proprietary production management system. This system tracks the order through the production process and provides near real time status information to employees and dealers. In order to achieve a high level of consistency in the finished product, Saxon uses a highly structured production line for final assembly of its motorcycles. In addition, numerous quality control checks and procedures are utilized and tracked in order to monitor performance trends and ensure continuous improvement.
Saxon’s dealer network consists of an elite group of dealers in the United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, and Australia, South America as well as its principal distributor in Europe representing all 29 EU countries. These Dealers and Distributors are selected based on a variety of qualification including location, experience, and ability to provide a high level of service to our customers. In turn, Saxon provides its dealers the support, tools and systems they need to develop their business and ensure their long term success.
In a short period of time Saxon has accomplished what it has taken other manufacturers years to achieve. It has done this by maintaining a focus on quality, value and customer service.
